Latronix has collaborated with Ecorail to equip their Loaded Track Measurement Rig with state-of-the-art measurement systems. The measurement rig is an innovative solution aiming to provide measurements wherever and whenever needed.
Ecorail’s innovative measurement rig is engineered for flexibility, it can be swiftly dispatched to any location, bypassing the need for tedious railway transfer requests. The rig’s transport and deployment are streamlined through a truck-mounted roll-off container system.
Upon arrival, the rig is connected to a road-rail excavator, a common presence at construction and maintenance sites. It is thereupon pulled the track while on its rubber wheels. Once on the track, the rail wheels are engaged using a remote control while an internal counterweight is moved – providing sufficient load in accordance with the EN13848 standard.
